Explore the vastness of the oldest desert in the world from the luxurious comfort of the beautiful Sossusvlei Lodge. Situated next to the Namib-Naukluft National Park, the Lodge blends in perfectly with its environment, in the shade of camelthorn trees and is testament to eco-friendly design.

Sossusvlei Lodge offers guests a wide variety of activities ranging from guided Sossusvlei trips to hot air ballooning over the dunes. Guests are also invited to make use of the world-class facilities, including the sparkling pool and the Arcaia beer garden, or to relax after an eventful day on the terrace overlooking a floodlit waterhole.

Accommodation

Sossusvlei Lodge has 44 luxury superior units each with a magnificent view, which can be enjoyed from the private patio. The spacious units are fully air-conditioned and the décor gives guests a sense of being close to nature. Each unit has a bedroom that contains twin beds, a seating area and vanity with power points. Each unit has an en-suite bathroom with a shower, toilet and washbasin.

For those looking for extra luxury the Junior Suite ensures privacy and tranquillity with a fantastic view of the surrounding desert plains. With a luxurious queen-size bed, an adjacent living area and a private terrace boasting a small splash pool, guests are invited to fully take advantage of the unsurpassed views extending over the Desert landscapes. In addition there is an elegant bathroom with a freestanding feature bath underneath a skylight to admire the star studded skies whilst taking a relaxing bath.

The Lodge has 6 family units.  The family units are made up of two individual units with inter-leading doors between the bathrooms that connect them.
