Award-winning Solitaire Farm is a peaceful retreat, nestled at the foot of the rugged Rand Mountains and overlooking the vast Namib Desert. The area’s original farmhouse has been lovingly restored and expanded with an open-air thatched dining room and bar.
There are numerous outdoor spaces to enjoy the expansive view of the Namib Desert, and watch wildlife visiting the waterhole. Part of the 45,000 acre Solitaire Land Trust, the farm is protected habitat for free-roaming native wildlife including oryx, kudu, Hartmann’s mountain zebra, springbok, brown hyena, cheetah and leopard. Free shuttle by prior arrangement for fly-in guests landing at Solitaire.
