Ideally situated in the Naukluft mountains, only 50km from the Sesrium Gate, the four star Moon Mountain Lodge provides ultra-luxury accommodation for those looking to explore the dunes of Sossusvlei.
The lodge’s 46 –seater Nebula Restaurant offers guests delicious traditional Namibian Cuisine. Guests are also welcome to enjoy a drink at the Cosmos Bar, a fully licensed bar with a large adjoining sun deck from which you will be awed by the view of petrified dunes during the day and from which stars can be gazed upon at night.
Although there are no TVs in the rooms, the lodge has a small cinema, complete with large flat screen TV, surround sound, DVD player and DSTV. This room is suitable for small conferences of up to 17 people.
Moon Mountain lodge caters for weddings for up to 60 people, and because of its stunning natural surroundings provides an exquisite venue to have your wedding.
Accommodation
Accommodation is provided by 17 tented-chalets – 11 luxury suites and 6 executive suites – each offering breath-taking views of the surrounding Namib Naukluft area. All of the rooms are en-suite and spoil guests with a private deck and splash pool.
